About Amy Surman - The Oxford Bead Shop
Amy Surman runs jewellery-making workshops and the Oxford Bead Shop from Wilkins Road in Cowley. Silversmithing is taught in a fully equipped studio with a bench for each student and a maximum of six people, through one-day weekend workshops or five-week courses.
Other workshops cover metal clay, including accredited training modules, and beading techniques such as knotting and stringing. Couples can make their own wedding rings, and private, hen party and children's workshops are also offered. The shop opens on set days each week.
