Proof Social Bakehouse

Proof Social Bakehouse is an artisan bakery and café on the Sandford Lane estate in Kennington, on the southern edge of Oxford. It bakes sourdough bread, pastries and cakes on site, supplies wholesale customers, and runs a café selling coffee, deli and pantry goods, plus Tap Social beer to take home.

The bakery is part of the Tap Social Movement and provides paid training and jobs for people serving prison sentences or recently released. It aims to spend most of its budget with independent suppliers nearby. The café opens Wednesday to Sunday, and the space can be hired for private events.
