A festive family day out at Didcot Railway Centre. Collect a Christmas passport and follow clues around the site to find Santa's missing reindeer, picking up small gifts along the way, then visit Santa in his grotto and choose a present. Tickets include unlimited steam train rides on the main demonstration line and time to explore the 1932 engine shed and historic locomotives. Runs on weekends in December plus 22 and 23 December; gates open 9.30am, closing 4pm. Arrival times must be booked in advance. Much of the experience is outdoors.
