The Perch

Pubs · Oxford

Thatched 17th-century pub and restaurant in Binsey, near Port Meadow, with a large garden and seasonal British food.

About The Perch

The Perch is a thatched 17th-century inn in the hamlet of Binsey, on the western edge of Oxford, a few minutes' walk from the Thames and Port Meadow. There has been a pub on the site for centuries, and the building was fully renovated in 2015.

The kitchen cooks seasonal farmhouse-style British food, including pies, fish and Sunday lunch, with children's, vegan and gluten-free menus. The bar stocks local real ales, craft beers, ciders and English wines. A large garden and a weekend Shed Bar sit alongside a marquee used for weddings and parties of up to 200. Payment is by card only.
